Associate General Manager of Educational Organization for 17 years.
Educational Organization, Athens, Greece, private school with 350 students; 92% success rate for entrance into Greek higher education institutions. General Duties: Produce and review school’s policies and make recommendations for changes. Prepare agenda for faculty meetings and chair and facilitate meetings. Supervise all school programmes (academic, athletic, cultural and other extra-curricular programmes); monitor the curriculum, grading, testing and reporting to parents; prepare and conduct period programme evaluations.
Supervise the compilation of the Parent/Student and Employee Handbook. Represent the school to local community, parents, students, alumni, business community, faculty and staff.
- Plan and execute programmes that enhance public perception of the school including initiating and leading activities
for prospective parents. - In 2019 planned and implemented the reestablishment of the vision & mission of the school after taking into account the views of parents, students and teachers.

Created the school website in collaboration with Civitas PR & Communications agency.
Produced and implemented Facebook campaign attracting 1,500 likes in five months; 6.493 likes in 3 years.
Reduced advertising costs by shifting from traditional advertising to social media.
Developed a programme to communicate with alumni, including planning and organising receptions, reunions and other special events.

Establish and organise an annual educational programme ‘Meet the World’ (Education Business Award 2017): generates money for charity annualy and attracts media attention and free press coverage; it is the closing ceremony of
the school and events are organised by students, teachers and parents.Develop, organise and supervise the creation of Adraxe School Journal that is now mainly written by students. From 2005 until now took part in 16 interviews of well known individuals from science and arts.
Establish and organise an annual education programme ‘School and Museums’ (Education Business Award 2017): every year our students are being tour guides in a different museum of Athens.
Develop and Organise cultural events such as Sounds of Spring (2012) in support of the Goulandris Natural History Museum attracting 600 visitors and Days of Light (2013) attracting 750 visitors and resulting in free publicity. Human Recourses Management
- Oversee the recruitment process of all academic and administrative staff; draft job descriptions and participate in
all recruitment interviews. - Organise annual training and development programme for staff.
- Establish employee policies and procedures including overseeing the preparation of employee handbooks.
- Designed and communicated the competency framework for academic and administrative staff.
- Wrote the initial employee handbook which is now being reviewed annually by a team of teachers.
- Compiled questionnaire and gathered feedback on difficulties faced by teachers during the academic year;
developed training plan, sourced trainers and oversaw the effective delivery of the programme.
Head of Educational Organization Phycology Department
Head the School’s Psychology Department, working with students and parents.
- Conduct one-to-one sessions with children to help them process their problems
and plan goals and actions. - Create and run programmes to promote positive behaviours.
- Counsel parents on range of topics including communication, bullying,
motivation and growth mindset. - Research and implement learning programmes.
- Evaluate and offer advice on disciplinary practices for troubled students.
- Supervise one education psychologist, one career counsellor and three
teachers of special education. - Created a one-month training programme teaching first year secondary
school students how to study effectively: programme resulted in the smooth
transition to secondary school and positive feedback from students. - Initiated and facilitated summer review programme; provided assistance
with teachers’ evaluation of last year’s curriculum and helped design next
year’s curriculum and other activities. - Worked with school career counsellor and developed a career guidance
programme involving targeted visits to companies and professionals, talks and
visits from alumni of different professions and one-to-one career counselling
sessions including psychometric and aptitude tests. - In 2019-2020 launched a Department of Special Education (SEM); two
teachers were employed to create a programme for students with
special needs. - In 2019-2020 established a Volunteer Program for students helping
students with special needs; students were coached by phychologists
and played board games with students with special needs during their
day recess. - In 2018 -2019 launched a programme providing Additional School
Support to students with learning difficulties and average performance;
focused on improving students’ study skills and techniques. - In 2017-2018 launched a programme of Peer-Coaching where teachers
developed their coaching skills. The peer-coaching programme runs
every year with almost 80% of participation. - In 2015-2016 launched a Teacher-Student Mentoring Programme
where teachers developed their mentoring and coaching skills. The
mentoring programme is one of the most established programmes of the
school and is being evaluated every year.
